LCAP/LCFF Strategic Planning and Audits
The Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) empowers districts to tailor their educational strategies to meet the specific needs of student subgroups, including Low-Income (LI), English Language Learners (ELL), and Foster Youth (FY). This funding model fosters an accountability structure through the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), ensuring that resources are directed toward enhancing academic success for all students.
What TSS Offers
1. LCAP and LCFF Budget Planning Support
TSS supports the district in constructing the LCAP and LCFF budget based on students' performance and needs, and takes a more strategic approach to how these funds can be applied to specific goals, with ongoing benchmarks and indicators to track progress.
2. LCAP Audit and Progress Monitoring
TSS also offers an LCAP audit to help the district understand the effects of its plans, assist with reporting, and, if needed, support course correction. TSS can assist the district with a "second set of eyes" to track and monitor actions and expenditures through the year for effectiveness and fidelity to the plan.
In short, TSS makes LCAP simpler and easier to implement, understand, and monitor, as the number of administrators required to write and track LCAP and LCFF is decreasing.
