About the Presenter
Mr. Herbert was a senior inspector with Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau for three years and is now a lead school inspector with Abu Dhabi Education Council. He has undertaken over 140 inspections during the last seven years in the United Arab Emirates. He is a UK inspector of schools. A qualified teacher and former principal with a Master’s degree; he has led inspections in all phase schools in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. An educator for 40 years, he has undertaken over 200 principal performance reviews in the UK. He has written inspection guidance for KHDA. He was a former senior improvement adviser in England supporting 23 schools in Wiltshire. He has trained teachers and leaders in Dubai as well as principals in government schools in Abu Dhabi. His experience is extensive and includes training CBSE teachers with the Podar group of schools in Mumbai as well as in CBSE schools throughout the UAE. Mr. Herbert has worked with both schools and universities throughout China as well as supporting schools in Korea, Uganda, Egypt and Pakistan. His training courses have included school leadership and self-evaluation, teaching for effective learning, assessment, tracking personalized learning, SEN identification and support, governance, the development of middle leaders as well as curriculum adaptation and design. He has supported schools in delivering on line learning as well as establishing learning platforms for access from school and home.
Hours of Instruction
Each course is 15 hours of instruction over two full consecutive days with an opportunity for follow-up activities for the purposes of implementation of learned content. However, those only seeking to learn about the topics presented on the first day may register for Day 1 Only.

Cost: 1,390 AED until November 21, 2017 (subject to space availability).
Cancellations received by November 21, 2017 will be subject to a 200 AED fee.
