Fal Asrani, Ed.D.

Dr. Fal Asrani has worked for more than eighteen years working in California public schools. She started her career as a special education teacher and then served as an Assistant Principal, High School Principal, Director of Secondary Reform and most recently as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services. Dr. Asrani’s area of focus is secondary education with special emphasis on secondary curriculum and instruction, school redesign and leadership development.

Dr. Asrani's experience includes supervising and developing a district strategic plan, designing International Baccalaureate schools, introducing Pathways and Small Learning Communities and restructuring high schools to meet program improvement mandates.  Working with school principals and district administrators, Dr. Asrani has effectively introduced and designed Professional Development that creatively aligns the talents within a school district to address its specific needs.

Dr. Asrani uses her personal knowledge and experience in high school administration, staff development, teaching, coaching, and counseling, to serve as a change agent for schools and districts that need support for improvement.  She provides services that assist schools to embrace practices that create "organizational coherence" - a phrase she uses to describe the alignment of human and fiscal resources for increased productivity and a celebration of learning.
