Cathy McMullen

Cathy McMullen comes to TSS with over 35 years of public school experience as an elementary teacher, school principal and in the dual capacity of Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources/ Director, Classified Personnel in a large Merit System district in southern California.  Her experience includes work in labor negotiations, staffing, position control, employee relations and employee classification.

She has also worked as an executive coach, a coach to site level administrators, and as a consultant to small and large districts dealing with grievances, employee evaluation, classification, seniority list verification, litigation and Program Improvement/DAIT work. 

Cathy holds a Master's Degree from the University of Southern California and continued her studies in the doctoral program at USC as well.  Cathy also served ACSA as the Chair of their Legislative Policy Committee and served on the School Employers Assocation of California Advisory Group.  She has presented at numerous conferences and most recently on the topic of value added teacher evaluation.
